Base Salary
$130k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement compute, storage, networking, and container workloads on Google Cloud Platform.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement IAM, service accounts, encryption, and other cloud security controls.
- Build monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting solutions.
- Optimize workload scaling, performance, resilience, and cloud costs.
- Support workload migration and modernization initiatives.
- Troubleshoot cloud issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Track uptime, SLO compliance, and mean time to recovery reduction.
Requirements
- Experience with GCP architecture, cloud design, Kubernetes/GKE, container orchestration, Terraform, Helm, and infrastructure-as-code design patterns.
- Knowledge of GCP networking, including VPC, peering, load balancing, Cloud NAT, IAM, VPC Service Controls, and encryption.
- Experience with Linux administration and Python or Bash scripting.
- Experience with Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or GitLab pipelines.
- Experience with Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, and observability practices.
- Knowledge of cloud cost optimization, FinOps fundamentals, SRE practices, event-driven architectures, and serverless architectures.
