Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end SAP solution architecture across functional, technical, integration, data, security, and operational domains.
- Define target-state and transition architectures aligned with business capabilities and transformation objectives.
- Lead architecture decisions across SAP S/4HANA Greenfield, Brownfield, Bluefield, RISE with SAP, and hybrid landscapes.
- Chair or participate in design governance forums, define architecture guardrails, and manage design risks, technical debt, deviations, and customisations.
- Translate business requirements into SAP solutions and provide architectural guidance to senior stakeholders.
- Support pre-sales, bids, discovery phases, solution options, estimates, and high-level designs.
- Define integration, data migration, analytics, and extensibility strategies using SAP Integration Suite and SAP BTP.
- Provide architectural oversight through Explore, Realise, Deploy, and Hypercare, resolving design issues and unblocking dependencies.
- Support operational readiness, solution documentation, handover to support, and alignment with ITSM and ALM tools.
- Lead virtual cross-functional teams, coach and develop individuals, support practice development, and build client relationships.
Requirements
- Third-level qualification in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of experience as an SAP Solution Architect on large-scale SAP programs.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, with exposure to Finance, Supply Chain, or industry-specific solutions.
- Experience with SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, Cloud ALM or Solution Manager, and modern integration patterns.
- Understanding of SAP security, roles and authorisations, data architecture, and analytics architecture.
- Proven ability to design and govern complex, multi-system SAP landscapes across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and solution governance models.
- Ability to lead virtual cross-functional teams and work effectively in global delivery models.
- SAP certifications such as SAP Certified Solution Architect, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, or RISE with SAP are desirable.
- Architecture or cloud certifications such as TOGAF, Azure, or AWS are advantageous.
- Strategic thinking, business transformation expertise, commercial awareness, project management capability, and strong client communication skills.
