Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end SAP solution architecture across functional, technical, integration, data, security, and operational domains.
- Define target-state and transition architectures for S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, and hybrid landscapes while applying SAP standards, Clean Core principles, extensibility models, and cloud strategies.
- Lead or chair design authorities and architecture review boards, establishing guardrails, standards, risk controls, and stakeholder sign-off.
- Translate business requirements into SAP solutions and provide architectural guidance to business stakeholders, process owners, functional leads, and senior clients.
- Define integration, data migration, analytics, and extensibility strategies using SAP Integration Suite, APIs, event-based patterns, and SAP BTP.
- Provide architectural oversight through Explore, Realise, Deploy, and Hypercare, resolving design issues and supporting operational readiness and handover.
- Lead virtual cross-functional teams, coach and develop colleagues, support presales and bids, and contribute to practice development and business opportunities.
Requirements
- Third-level qualification in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 15 years of experience as an SAP Solution Architect on large-scale SAP programs.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, with exposure to Finance, Supply Chain, or industry-specific solutions.
- Experience with SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, Cloud ALM or Solution Manager, and modern integration patterns.
- Understanding of SAP security, roles and authorisations, data architecture, analytics architecture, enterprise architecture frameworks, and solution governance.
- Proven ability to design and govern complex multi-system SAP landscapes across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Ability to lead virtual cross-functional teams and work effectively in global delivery models.
- Strong client relationship, communication, project management, commercial awareness, and stakeholder management skills.
- SAP certifications such as SAP Certified Solution Architect, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, or RISE with SAP are advantageous.
- Architecture or cloud certifications such as TOGAF, Azure, or AWS are advantageous.
