Base Salary
$160k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build high-performance, distributed data pipelines and services.
- Lead technical direction and align engineering work with business needs.
- Collaborate across teams using open-source technologies including Kafka, FastAPI, Airflow, and Spark.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to an inclusive team culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in an object-oriented programming language.
- Deep experience with distributed, high-volume, and highly available systems.
- Fluency in AI development tools.
- Preferred experience with big-data ecosystems including Kafka, Spark, Flink, Cassandra, Redis, and Airflow.
- Preferred familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, and S3-compatible storage.
- Preferred SaaS/PaaS development experience.
- Preferred experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
