Responsibilities
- Build and scale the scientific model platform with fast, reliable, and cost-effective infrastructure.
- Define standards and tooling for model developers to integrate and ship models into Benchling.
- Collaborate with customers to ideate use cases and gather feedback.
- Drive experimentation and contribute to technical direction in AI development.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software engineering or equivalent research experience in scientific models.
- Strong experience with backend systems for scientific model training or inference.
- Technical and analytical skills for optimizing compute-intensive systems.
- Collaborative mindset to work with engineers, product managers, and scientists.
- Desire to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
