Base Salary

$123k - $167k/yr

Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and improve Kubernetes clusters and containerized application deployments across cloud environments.
Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) to provision and configure platform resources consistently.
Own and improve CI/CD pipelines, including GitLab CI configuration and automated workflows.
Support identity and access management through tools like Keycloak.
Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging for platform health.
Manage certificate lifecycle operations, including renewal of public certificates.
Contribute to platform security posture through container security practices.
Collaborate with application teams to troubleshoot deployment issues.
Write and maintain technical documentation and operational standards.
Influence strategic vision by contributing to technological advancements.
Participate in on-call rotations and support platform incidents.
Mentor and support junior engineers through pairing and code reviews.

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for deploying and managing clusters.
Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
Proficiency with CI/CD tooling, particularly GitLab CI.
Working knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
Ability to read and write YAML for Kubernetes manifests and pipeline configurations.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
U.S. citizenship required; must be eligible for CUI access.
Possess or ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT II certification.
