Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance application systems using established application development procedures and programming concepts.
- Analyze code and applications, identify system enhancements, vulnerabilities, and security issues, and implement solutions.
- Design, test, debug, install, and support enterprise applications and customer-facing systems.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and recommend programming solutions.
- Use Java, Spring, microservices, cloud platforms, messaging services, databases, and deployment technologies.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts and act as a subject-matter expert for stakeholders and team members.
- Assess and resolve issues independently while following applicable policies, controls, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s or university degree in a relevant area, or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with Core Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring REST, Spring JPA/Hibernate, and microservices.
- Experience with cloud platforms or servers such as OpenShift, GCP, or AWS.
- Experience with messaging services such as ActiveMQ or Kafka and databases such as Oracle PL/SQL.
- Experience with JavaScript, React or AngularJS, Bitbucket, Redis or Memcached, Docker, Harness, and application servers such as WebSphere, Tomcat, or JBoss.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Autosys, shell scripting, JWT or another authentication technique, Kibana or Elasticsearch, and data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of Gen-AI, LLMs such as Gemini, and agentic AI is preferred.
- Ability to work with limited direct supervision, exercise independent judgment, and advise less experienced analysts.
