Responsibilities
- Design and own significant parts of the K4B booking and integration architecture.
- Contribute to the shift toward a direct-first integration model.
- Take end-to-end ownership of integrations from design to production.
- Incorporate AI tooling and modern engineering approaches into workflows.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and partner teams to clarify requirements.
- Mentor and support engineers, fostering a culture of shared learning.
- Participate in architecture design reviews and contribute to technical direction.
Requirements
- 7+ years of backend engineering experience with complex distributed systems.
- Familiarity with travel industry concepts like booking flows and fare structures.
- Experience with Global Distribution System platforms or direct integrations.
- Proven ability to build and maintain integrations with external APIs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfort with autonomy and ownership over work.
