Senior / Staff Front End Engineer

$200k - $350k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and build the next generation of Clear Street Active.
- Develop performant, responsive web interfaces for active traders.
- Integrate real-time market data, low-latency execution workflows, and advanced trading tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on large-scale, high-impact initiatives.
- Help shape Clear Street’s prime brokerage experience and institutional trading platform.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience implementing web applications.
- At least 3 years of experience with modern web technologies and demonstrated success at a Senior or higher Engineer level.
- Expertise building and maintaining high-performance, scalable web applications with TypeScript, React, TanStack, and Tailwind.
- Strong command of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Focus on end-user experience, API design, functionality, and performance.
- Passion for developer experience, tooling, performance, and maintainability.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-first environment and maintain high quality standards.
