Base Salary
$165k - $330k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software systems and product features using Python.
- Design, implement, and deploy Baseten solutions end-to-end, collaborating with customer engineering teams.
- Translate vague objectives into clear specifications and well-defined proofs of concept.
- Optimize and enhance post-training solutions, contributing to the technical stack's continuous improvement.
- Own products and customer projects, acting as an engineer, project manager, and product manager.
- Navigate ambiguity and make informed decisions on problem-solving tools and tradeoffs.
- Demonstrate pride, ownership, and accountability for your work.
Requirements
- Experience with reinforcement learning and supervised fine-tuning for large language models.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Strong communication skills for discussing complex technical topics.
