Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and coordination for the India team.
- Design and implement backend services and enhancements.
- Investigate and resolve production issues using logs and monitoring tools.
- Validate fixes in lower environments before production rollout.
- Create and maintain unit and integration test cases.
- Drive security remediation, CVE fixes, and dependency upgrades.
- Participate in code reviews and improve engineering standards.
- Support platform stability, reliability, and performance initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Proactively initiate improvements focused on system stability and reliability.
Requirements
- Experience with Scala, Akka, and Java.
- Experience with functional programming and distributed systems.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Production support experience, including log analysis, monitoring, and incident investigation.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, security fixes, CVE remediation, and dependency upgrades.
- Experience with code reviews, mentoring, and technical leadership.
- Ability to challenge technical decisions using data and reasoning and work independently on complex problems.
- Preferred experience with AWS, EKS, Lambda, Glue, MSK, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Datadog, GitLab CI, Flink, Python, Argo CD, Terraform, and Atlantis.
