Responsibilities
- Lead the design and evolution of large-scale distributed systems and platform architectures.
- Define and drive company-wide technical strategy aligned with business and product objectives.
- Establish architectural principles, standards, and best practices for scalability, consistency, and maintainability.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted development practices and AI-enabled capabilities across the organization.
- Lead cross-functional and cross-organizational initiatives spanning multiple systems, domains, and business units.
- Identify systemic technical risks and lead modernization and technical-debt reduction initiatives.
- Advance reliability, scalability, performance, observability, and operational maturity.
- Mentor and influence senior technical talent while promoting engineering excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 12+ years of professional software engineering experience, including organizational or company-wide technical strategy leadership.
- Deep experience designing and evolving large-scale distributed systems and cloud-based platform architectures.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and cloud-native architecture patterns.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive technical alignment across multiple teams without direct authority.
- Preferred experience with .NET full-stack and API development across frontend and backend technologies.
- Proficiency in one or more of Rust, C#, or JavaScript.
- Preferred experience with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, serverless architectures, Terraform, Pulumi, or Bicep.
- Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Experience with observability, monitoring, distributed tracing, reliability engineering, CI/CD systems, automated testing, progressive deployment, and modern security practices.
