Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure application architectures covering authentication, authorization, data protection, and vulnerability management.
- Develop and maintain secure coding guidelines, standards, security controls, and countermeasures.
- Review application architectures and security requirements to identify and mitigate risks from new products, features, and bug fixes.
- Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing and ensure alignment with relevant security standards and regulations.
- Research product-area security technologies and establish risk-identification approaches and security solutions across products.
- Communicate security risks and recommendations to stakeholders and mentor teams on secure coding and application security practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science or a related field.
- More than six years of application security or software development experience; more than ten years is preferred.
- Strong understanding and execution of software development principles and the software development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in mainstream web application development technologies; Java-based technology experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the causes and solutions for OWASP Top 10 security issues and common security solutions.
- Understanding of penetration testing, security testing, static code security scanning, and vulnerability analysis.
- Knowledge of mobile and web security, application vulnerability mechanisms, threat modeling, and attack surface analysis.
- Bilingual English/Mandarin communication skills are required for coordinating with overseas partners and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
