Base Salary
$105k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-team development of middleware patterns and runtimes for interoperability and multi-tenant scale.
- Define versioning, deprecation, API lifecycle, compatibility, and safe rollout strategies.
- Drive shared observability baselines, SLOs, error budgets, resilience patterns, capacity planning, and service reliability improvements.
- Design, develop, test, debug, troubleshoot, profile, and optimize scalable software and APIs.
- Lead architectural reviews, code reviews, technical standards, and software quality improvements across multiple areas.
- Investigate complex cross-service, customer-reported, maintenance, and defect issues and develop short- and long-term solutions.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, mentoring, customer support, and hiring recommendations.
- Coordinate moderately complex projects and initiatives across teams, timelines, deliverables, and resources.
- Produce migration guides and adoption playbooks to improve ecosystem consistency and developer experience.
Requirements
- Advanced software development knowledge and experience designing scalable software, systems, services, and APIs.
- Experience leading platform, middleware, runtime, architecture, interoperability, versioning, observability, or resilience initiatives across teams.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex software, integration, performance, maintenance, and customer issues.
- Experience with software testing, quality assurance, debugging, monitoring, secure coding, patching, and system maintenance.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, conduct code and architecture reviews, coach engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders and customers.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle practices, architectural standards, performance optimization, scalability strategies, and industry best practices.

- US hiring range is $104,500 to $234,600 per annum, with possible bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
