Responsibilities
- Create and document detailed designs for software applications and components.
- Design, code, verify, test, document, amend, and refactor programs and scripts.
- Develop and support platform services and APIs for analytics, data science, business intelligence, and AI workflows.
- Apply agreed modeling techniques, standards, patterns, tools, and basic security practices.
- Conduct self-validation, peer reviews, and software quality checks.
- Assist with release planning, scheduling, preparation of release materials, and maintenance of release records.
- Participate in testing, quality assurance, and issue resolution.
- Work independently under general direction and collaborate with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and partners.
- Provide occasional Tier 3 after-hours support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in relevant software development positions.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with enterprise-scale data solutions.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL data storage mechanisms.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and JSON is preferred.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ability to work independently, use sound judgment, seek guidance when needed, and plan work over short time horizons.
- Effective communication, collaboration, organization, digital skills, and adherence to security, privacy, and ethics standards.
