Responsibilities

  • Execute software design, development, technical troubleshooting, and production-code maintenance.
  • Build secure, stable, scalable, and high-quality software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and Kubernetes.
  • Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
  • Use enterprise-authorized AI coding assistants for code generation, refactoring, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting while validating their outputs.
  • Gather, analyze, synthesize, and visualize large and diverse datasets to improve applications, coding hygiene, and system architecture.
  • Contribute to software development lifecycle automation, application resiliency, security, and broader team engineering practices.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
  • Experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, AWS, and Kubernetes.
  • Working knowledge of agentic AI coding assistants such as Copilot and Claude Code, including prompt workflows, refactoring, test generation, and code review support.
  • Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, debugging, maintenance, and operational stability.
  • Experience developing software in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
  • Ability to critically evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile development practices.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies are preferred.
