Responsibilities
- Articulate F5 product strategy, messaging, value propositions, and solutions for customer business objectives.
- Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, solution designs, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
- Determine opportunity viability, map organizational structures, and identify and engage technical decision-makers.
- Drive the sales process with Account Managers by securing technical validation, support, and sponsorship.
- Serve as a trusted adviser and technical expert for F5 Distributed Cloud, secure cloud-native application and networking services, and web/API security solutions.
- Lead complex sales cycles and coordinate internal and customer stakeholders for successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing teams to align offerings with customer and market needs.
- Mentor and guide junior sales engineers while sharing best practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years of related industry experience.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with F5 products including BIG-IP, LTM, GTM/DNS, APM, SSLO, ASM/AWAF, NGINX, and F5 SaaS Distributed Cloud services.
- Advanced knowledge of ADCs and TCP/IP networking, plus experience with F5 iRules and other customizations.
- Advanced F5 solution knowledge and the ability to apply solutions to customer challenges.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, collaboration, autonomy, and prioritization skills.
- Familiarity with F5 or similar industry solution deployment is preferred.
- Relevant certifications are preferred.
