Responsibilities
- Develop deep knowledge of the Tines Intelligent Workflow Platform and apply it to customer security and IT operations challenges.
- Create and deliver presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers and alliance partners.
- Build and demo Tines Stories to demonstrate value and support sales.
- Manage customer technical decision processes, proofs of concept, and evaluations.
- Collaborate with Sales on use cases and competitive account strategies.
- Enable channel and technical alliance partners and support their pre-sales engineers.
- Provide market and customer feedback to Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams.
- Share customer experiences, competitive insights, and new automation stories in the knowledge base.
- Develop sales engineering metrics, operations, and best practices.
- Drive ANZ sales engineering strategy and serve as a senior voice for the function.
- Mentor and guide other sales engineers.
- Represent Tines at industry events, conferences, and webinars.
- Lead complex automation solution design and implementation for high-profile customers.
- Advocate for key customers and drive initiatives that improve sales engineering effectiveness.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, or technology delivery at a SaaS company.
- Strong technical background with API experience and curiosity about new cloud technologies.
- Security and/or IT industry experience.
- Experience uncovering customer needs, delivering compelling demos, and winning technical evaluations.
- Ability to communicate with business and technical audiences.
- Project management and customer solution delivery skills.
- Analytical ability to derive actionable insights from complex data.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Ability to travel up to 30%-40%.
