Software Engineer - Android HMI

- Analyze requirements and realize functionality in the Android Automotive domain.
- Develop and own multiple modules and components for Android Automotive systems.
- Deliver software for integration and ensure pre-integration testing and functional verification.
- Implement test strategies, document results, and maintain requirements traceability and feature maturity.
- Triage and resolve defects and coordinate dependency resolution with other domains.
- Mentor less experienced team members and support timely task completion.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience modifying Android framework components, system services, and the Android SDK.
- Overall 3–5 years of professional experience.
- Expert knowledge of the Android Framework, AOSP platform architecture, and related build systems.
- Good understanding of Android Automotive systems and the Car Framework.
- Strong understanding of Android Services, Broadcast Receivers, Content Providers, and Treble Architecture.
- Proficiency in Java or Kotlin and object-oriented programming.
- Hands-on knowledge of software development and software testing life cycles.
- Ability to work in agile, cross-functional teams with strong planning and organizational skills.
