$190k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to company growth by exploring partnerships outside of Airbnb.
- Lead projects end-to-end, from partner engagement to launch.
- Identify patterns for scaling new partnerships quickly.
- Design, write, and test new APIs and integrations.
- Document system changes and align with team members.
- Debug external integrations and participate in on-call rotation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners and external stakeholders.
- Provide input on team roadmap and technical direction.
- Build efficient, reliable, and scalable backend solutions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Experience designing scalable and resilient service-oriented architectures.
- Proven ability to lead projects effectively.
- Familiarity with third-party APIs is a plus.
- Experience with authentication or secure signing mechanisms is a plus.
- Strong focus on reliability, efficiency, and system quality.
- Good judgment in balancing short-term business needs with long-term technical quality.
- High sense of user empathy and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
