Base Salary
$85k - $168k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure software for AI-powered commercial products and services.
- Build and operate partner and seller incentive data pipelines and services from upstream ingestion through standardized entities and trusted earnings datasets.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, data engineers, and UX designers to deliver end-to-end features.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and engineering best-practice improvements.
- Improve system performance, reliability, developer productivity, self-service capabilities, and data governance.
- Write documented, maintainable code and ensure compliance with security and Responsible AI standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline with proven coding experience, or equivalent experience.
- Experience coding in one or more languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, Spark, or TypeScript.
- Preferred proficiency in a modern programming language such as Python, Spark, C#, Java, or TypeScript.
- Preferred experience building scalable cloud solutions, distributed systems, and large-scale data platforms on Azure.
- Preferred knowledge of AI/ML, LLMs, Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, and Copilot technologies.
- Preferred familiarity with Git, DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, GitHub Copilot, and Claude.
- Understanding of security, compliance, and Responsible AI principles is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, learning, and innovation abilities in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

- Base pay is listed for U.S. locations, with a separate range for the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area.
- Benefits and other compensation may be available according to Microsoft’s applicable programs.
