Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable network applications.
- Establish engineering best practices involving design patterns, code quality, testing, and software architecture.
- Architect and implement Java/Spring Boot microservice-based and event-driven systems.
- Develop workflow automation and business process integrations using tools such as Temporal.
- Apply event design practices to Kafka-based messaging and orchestration.
- Collaborate on backend and frontend development using Java, Spring, Python, and ReactJS.
- Design and maintain microfrontend architectures.
- Work with relational, NoSQL, graph, and time-series data storage engines.
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and participate in code and design reviews.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.
- Stay current with software best practices, AI, and cloud technology trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent, with 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, concurrency, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Extensive production experience with Java/JEE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, databases, ReactJS, JPA, Swagger, Maven, and JUnit.
- Strong ReactJS and frontend or microfrontend exposure.
- Advanced experience with event-driven microservices architecture and Kafka event design.
- Strong experience with workflow engines such as Temporal, Camunda, or custom solutions.
- Expertise in relational SQL and NoSQL data modeling, including Redis, Elasticsearch, and Prometheus.
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles and modern microfrontend architecture.
- Experience with integrations, processing, and system design at scale.
- Proficiency with Git, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Kibana, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, and Docker containerization.
- Track record of mentoring engineers and contributing to a high-performance engineering culture.
- Preferred familiarity with network protocols such as gNMI and SNMP or network automation.
- Preferred experience or interest in NLP, predictive analytics, or LLM integration.
- Preferred experience with Python or Golang, graph databases, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
