Base Salary

$112k - $147k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, document, test, debug, and deliver backend solutions using C# and .NET Core.
  • Define API contracts, policies, routing rules, and integrations using Kong API Gateway.
  • Architect scalable and resilient AWS deployments across ECS, EKS, Lambda, and RDS.
  • Design event-driven messaging patterns using Solace message brokers.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Harness.
  • Create technical designs, API specifications, integration documentation, and implementation guidance.
  • Provide technical direction, mentor junior developers, and support reliability, performance, security, scalability, and production readiness.
  • Coordinate dependencies and delivery execution with cloud infrastructure, architecture, security, DevOps, product, and project management teams.
  • Refine AI prompt pipelines and orchestrate AI agent workflows that generate spec-driven low-level microservice designs.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum delivery activities and communicate risks, issues, blockers, and dependencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of software development experience, including design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging.
  • Knowledge of C#, .NET Core, advanced object-oriented design, backend engineering, microservices, API-first development, and spec-driven delivery.
  • Knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud-native application architecture, including ECS, EKS, Lambda, and RDS.
  • Strong technical documentation, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to mentor junior developers and guide complex technical design and delivery decisions.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with Solace, Kong, CI/CD automation, Git, AI coding agents, LLM workflows, generative AI frameworks, prompt engineering, Python, airline messaging, and enterprise integration.
  • Preferred experience includes SAFe, Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, cloud security, observability, logging, monitoring, and operational readiness.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
