Base Salary
$200k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own vertical web applications from problem definition through architecture, development, deployment, and operations.
- Architect reusable backend services using Python, Java, Ruby, or Node.js.
- Build frontend experiences using React, TypeScript, and Ant Design System.
- Integrate applications with Zeta’s core platform and backend APIs.
- Ship continuously with observability, resilience, and reliability built into the systems.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve development velocity and software quality.
- Incorporate AI/LLM capabilities into vertical applications.
- Mentor engineers, lead technical initiatives, and communicate complex decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate directly with product owners and teams to define problems, propose architectures, and deliver solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with a history of owning and operating built systems.
- Deep proficiency in at least two of Python, Java, Ruby, or Node.js.
- Solid React and TypeScript skills.
- Experience building and operating scalable, distributed, high-performance systems.
- Comfort navigating multi-tenant and compliant environments.
- Practical experience with continuous delivery, test-driven development, Agile, and shift-left practices.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini, or Codex.
- Strong communication, architecture, consensus-building, and cross-team collaboration skills.
- MarTech or AdTech experience, including DSPs, bid stream processing, or data-intensive platforms, is preferred.
- Healthcare, political, or retail domain knowledge is preferred.
