Responsibilities

  • Discover agency problems onsite and translate them into compliant, buildable solutions tied to mission outcomes.
  • Design, configure, integrate, test, and ship AI agents, workflows, automations, integrations, and data pipelines on Axon’s platform.
  • Build and deploy AI-powered workflows involving agents, prompts, RAG, and evaluations using real users and data.
  • Own deployment, adoption, optimization, troubleshooting, and ongoing success for customer solutions.
  • Assess operational workflows, define success metrics and baselines, and iterate solutions until adoption and mission impact are demonstrated.
  • Lead relationships with agency leadership and operational stakeholders, including QBRs, mission reviews, and strategic planning.
  • Capture customer insights and reusable implementation patterns for Product and Engineering roadmap and playbook development.
  • Maintain an onsite presence of approximately 3–4 days per week and support Sales-to-Post-Sales onboarding and handoff.

Requirements

  • Typically 8+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles, program management, operational transformation, or complex deployment environments.
  • Demonstrated experience shipping production-ready automations, agents, workflows, integrations, or AI-enabled tools in customer environments.
  • Ability to configure products, write integration logic, and own hands-on builds through production delivery.
  • Comfort working across hardware, software, cloud, AI-enabled technologies, and integrated systems.
  • Strong communication skills with technical teams, senior stakeholders, command staff, and operational users.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and competing priorities across Product, Engineering, Sales, Support, and Services.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS compliance and adhere to security standards.
  • Preferred experience in public safety, law enforcement, corrections, or other mission-critical operational environments.
  • Preferred familiarity with Records, Evidence, digital workflows, AI-enabled platforms, or integrated public safety ecosystems.
  • Preferred background in forward-deployed engineering, solutions architecture, or large-scale operational transformation.
