Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain security measures across AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud infrastructures.
- Secure containerized applications and architect Kubernetes, Docker, and orchestration environments.
- Develop and enforce cloud and container security policies, standards, procedures, and controls.
- Integrate security practices into SDLC and CI/CD pipelines in partnership with development and DevOps teams.
- Investigate and remediate cloud security incidents and advise on cloud-specific attack vectors.
- Automate security operations and continuously monitor cloud environments for compliance, threats, and performance anomalies using Python and other tools.
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, threat modeling, and risk mitigation activities.
- Evaluate security tools and technologies, track industry trends, and improve the organization’s cloud security program.
- Collaborate with the Project Execution Office on project plans, timelines, milestones, scope, and deliverables.
- Maintain security documentation and report security risks, incidents, and findings to leadership and stakeholders.
- Explore and implement innovative solutions including AI-driven threat detection, machine learning, security automation, XDR, CSPM, CWP, and serverless security.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience as a Cloud Security Engineer or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Proficiency in Python scripting and automation.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices.
- Experience with CSPM platforms such as Wiz, Divvy Cloud, Prisma Cloud, or Orca; Wiz is preferred.
- Experience securing Docker, Kubernetes clusters, and containerized workloads.
- Knowledge of productivity tools such as Office 365 and Atlassian.
- Relevant AWS, GCP, or Azure security certifications are a plus.
- Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, initiative, and risk-based cybersecurity judgment.
