Responsibilities

Build discovery, recommendation, personalization, and relevant search systems for LINE MAN and Wongnai.
Develop and research state-of-the-art search algorithms.
Build and scale reliable backend search services while improving availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency.
Guide technical designs involving coding patterns, algorithms, and architecture through formal technical reviews.
Coach engineers on task breakdowns and implementation plans while balancing business impact, quality, and engineering effort.
Design and plan low-risk production rollouts and evaluate features through A/B testing.
Work with product and engineering teams to identify opportunities and plan supporting technical designs.
Mentor and cultivate a high-performance, self-organized engineering team.

7+ years of experience in the software development cycle.
Proficiency in at least one backend programming language, preferably Go or Java.
Strong background in Elasticsearch.
Experience with AWS or GCP, SQL or NoSQL databases, RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, and Solr.
Ability to establish a high-performance and self-organized team with suitable processes and procedures.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, leadership, coaching, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
Strong communication skills in both Thai and English.
Understanding of basic data science or machine learning concepts is preferred.
TOEIC 800-level English is a plus.
HSK4-level Chinese is a plus.
