Responsibilities
- Design and build single-agent and multi-target detection and tracking algorithms.
- Develop decentralized multi-agent, multi-target tracking algorithms for swarms of unmanned autonomous systems.
- Create tracking, fusion, and state-estimation capabilities for autonomous robotic systems.
- Collaborate with autonomy engineers, software engineers, and cross-functional teams.
- Take algorithms from concept through robust, deployable software for real-world autonomous systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related engineering field.
- At least five years of experience developing tracking and fusion software for autonomous robotic systems.
- Experience processing optical, RF, radar, and lidar sensor measurements.
- Experience with classical state estimation and tracking, including Kalman filters and particle filters.
- Experience with multi-target prediction and tracking for autonomous robotic systems and cross-platform sensor fusion.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python with strong procedural and object-oriented programming skills.
- Willingness to travel for company business between offices and to customer sites.
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain UK security clearance.
- Preferred: seven or more years of hands-on tracking and fusion software development experience.
- Preferred: familiarity with software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop development and testing.
- Preferred: experience on national security projects for government agencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to cross-disciplinary teams.
