Responsibilities

  • Analyze sales-cycle information and translate technical visions into detailed implementation proposals.
  • Scope technical work, support resource planning, estimate project costs, and gather project requirements.
  • Deliver customized software demonstrations and presentations addressing client needs and SAS technology benefits.
  • Support sales opportunities through prototyping, pre-sales implementations, RFI/RFP responses, and technical leadership.
  • Install and configure SAS software solutions and supporting products for demonstrations and knowledge sharing.
  • Build trusted relationships with account executives and clients and provide functional and technical guidance.
  • Collaborate with delivery technical leads, delivery architects, systems engineers, and technical support.
  • Participate in design activities, produce customer documentation, and support user group events and trade shows.
  • Follow security policies and processes supporting secure software development goals.

Requirements

  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in system engineering, project management, application development, technical architecture and design, and/or customer support.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills, including written, oral, and interpersonal communication.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, methodologies, SAS foundation technologies, architecture, and resources.
  • Understanding of cloud architecture concepts and best practices.
  • Understanding of sales strategies and sales cycles.
  • Good problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Preferred knowledge includes programming languages, operating systems, utilities, services, editors, complex-system internals, diagnostic tools, Azure, AWS, and SAS certifications.
