Responsibilities
- Be a technical expert on all aspects of Snowflake.
- Guide customers through the migration process and develop methodologies to improve it.
- Deploy Snowflake following best practices and ensure knowledge transfer to customers.
- Work hands-on with customers to demonstrate implementation best practices.
- Maintain understanding of competitive technologies and position Snowflake accordingly.
- Collaborate with System Integrator consultants for successful deployments.
- Provide guidance on resolving customer-specific technical challenges.
- Support Professional Services team members in developing their expertise.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve products.
Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in a pre-sales or post-sales technical role.
- Experience migrating data platforms and addressing unique migration challenges.
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences.
- Understanding of the complete data analytics stack and workflow.
- Strong skills in databases, data warehouses, and data processing.
- Extensive hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics.
- Proven success in selling data and/or analytics software to enterprise customers.
- Extensive knowledge of large-scale database technologies.
- Software development experience with C/C++ or Java and scripting experience.
