Responsibilities
- Lead solution envisioning, architecture design, discovery workshops, and end-to-end Dynamics 365 Business Central solution design.
- Lead finance transformation discussions covering general ledger, payables, receivables, fixed assets, cash management, budgeting, reporting, controls, cost accounting, consolidations, and intercompany accounting.
- Architect solutions across finance, purchasing, sales, inventory, warehousing, manufacturing, service management, project accounting, integrations, and reporting.
- Design integration strategies using Business Central, Power Platform, Azure Integration Services, Microsoft Fabric, and third-party solutions.
- Advise CFOs, Controllers, Finance Directors, executives, business leaders, sales teams, and project teams.
- Support pre-sales through demos, workshops, estimates, architecture reviews, Statements of Work, and proposal development.
- Provide leadership for solution reviews, governance, testing strategy, deployment planning, and hypercare.
- Collaborate with consultants, developers, business analysts, and project managers, mentor consultants, and contribute to practice development.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamics 365 Business Central consulting experience.
- Strong accounting and finance background with deep knowledge of financial operations and reporting.
- Experience leading finance-driven ERP transformation initiatives and multiple full-lifecycle Business Central implementations.
- Extensive experience with general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, cash management, budgeting, cost accounting, consolidations, financial reporting, and intercompany accounting.
- Strong understanding of purchasing, sales, inventory, warehousing, manufacturing, projects, and service operations.
- Experience designing Business Central integrations with external applications.
- Experience developing Statements of Work, implementation roadmaps, estimates, and solution designs.
- Strong consulting, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, plus experience in Agile delivery environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- CPA, CMA, CGA, ACCA, CPA-US, or equivalent professional accounting designation is strongly preferred.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications, Power BI financial reporting experience, Azure Integration Services experience, Microsoft Power Platform experience, and ERP or finance modernization consulting experience are preferred.
- Experience supporting multi-company, multi-entity, and multi-currency organizations is preferred.
