Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality production software solutions.
  • Build distributed systems and RESTful and event-driven microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
  • Create architecture and design artifacts and ensure software implementations meet design constraints.
  • Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Analyze large and diverse datasets to identify patterns and drive improvements to coding hygiene, system architecture, and application quality.
  • Support operational stability, resiliency, scalability, and security across software applications and systems.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Experience designing and developing distributed systems using Java.
  • Experience building RESTful and event-driven microservices with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud, and using asynchronous communication systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies are preferred.
