Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy software data products and platforms for PayPal.
- Own software data pipeline components, services, and offerings from ideation through production deployment.
- Identify business requirements and help design large-scale software solution architectures.
- Implement software development lifecycle tasks, experimentation, automation, simulation, performance improvements, and load testing.
- Collaborate with peers, managers, and project leads and participate in software code and design reviews.
- Apply internal software development standards and procedures to technical decisions.
Requirements
- A master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of relevant experience.
- Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a closely related field plus five years of relevant experience.
- Two years of experience with Java programming, SQL and query optimization, Apache Spark, Hadoop ecosystem components, Python, AWS, GCP data services, Apache Airflow, Snowflake, CI/CD deployment pipelines, and Scala programming.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
