Base Salary

$164k - $170k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement enterprise data integration and segmentation solutions for analytics, reporting, and data warehouse stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain ETL pipelines across on-premises and cloud environments using tools including GoldenGate, Debezium, and Airflow.
  • Develop cloud batch workflows and orchestration using Google Dataflow and Google Composer on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Develop large-scale Java or Python software with Spring and Spring Boot, including cloud-based microservices and messaging applications.
  • Implement automated unit, acceptance, and integration testing and evolve testing automation frameworks and architectural practices.
  • Deploy software using continuous integration and continuous delivery practices and maintain cloud deployment workflows.
  • Provide technical guidance, participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and lead onsite and offshore teams.
  • Use and establish team practices for AI-assisted engineering, including coding, refactoring, documentation, troubleshooting, SQL generation, and test creation.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, Product Management, architects, SRE, delivery teams, and upstream and downstream teams to ensure end-to-end quality and delivery.
  • Lead multiple parallel initiatives, manage resources across locations, and support modernization and migration activities when applicable.

Requirements

  • 2–3+ years of hands-on experience in data modeling.
  • 3+ years of experience building ETL data pipelines on premises and in the cloud.
  • 2+ years of experience with Google Dataflow and Google Composer for batch processing and orchestration on Google Cloud Platform.
  • 7+ years of actively developing large-scale software using Java or Python and Spring/Spring Boot.
  • 3+ years of experience with containers and cloud microservices.
  • 6+ years of cloud deployment experience in a continuous integration and continuous delivery model, including technologies such as GitHub and Harness.
  • 2+ years of experience implementing automated unit, acceptance, and integration tests.
  • 4+ years of experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, Aerospike, and Google Spanner.
  • 2+ years of experience building messaging applications using RabbitMQ, Kafka, or equivalent technologies.
  • Practical familiarity with GenAI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, ChatGPT, or enterprise-approved AI tools, including validation and correction of generated output.
  • Working knowledge of agentic workflows, spec-driven development, custom instructions, and prompt engineering for AI-assisted development.
  • Demonstrated ability in solution discovery, engineering-based design, technical communication, problem solving, mentoring, and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Experience leading and managing onsite and offshore teams and development activities.
  • Preferred experience includes 2+ years with Pivotal Cloud Foundry, AWS, or GCP.
  • Preferred experience includes IT transformation, system modernization, on-premises-to-cloud ETL migration, Spring batch applications, Control-M, financial services, test-driven development, Atlassian tools, and Agile environments.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States without employer sponsorship.
