Base Salary
$155k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship production-quality software for platform infrastructure, including backend services, automation tooling, provisioning systems, and test systems.
- Develop device identity and security infrastructure covering secure boot, disk encryption, device attestation, cloud enrollment, key management, certificate lifecycles, and trusted software execution.
- Collaborate with firmware, applications, cloud, manufacturing, systems, and operations teams across global offices.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools and practices for research, iteration, feedback, development, and testing.
- Own deliverables and grow the focus area as platform infrastructure needs evolve.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least one systems or backend language: Python, C, C++, TypeScript, or Rust.
- Proficiency in AI tools for research, iteration, feedback, development, and testing.
- Comfort working in Linux environments.
- Ability to work on-site at the San Diego office.
- Strong technical communication, collaboration, receptiveness to feedback, persistence with difficult problems, humility, and responsibility.
