Base Salary

$24k - $282k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical authority and strategic architect for Oracle Simphony across global restaurant operations.
  • Define Simphony architecture strategy, technical roadmaps, integration frameworks, governance models, standards, and modernization initiatives.
  • Lead the design and deployment of Simphony POS, inventory, menu management, loyalty, digital commerce, kitchen operations, and back-of-house capabilities.
  • Architect integrations among Simphony, Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle Retail, enterprise applications, analytics platforms, digital commerce, loyalty, payment, supply chain, and third-party restaurant systems.
  • Lead global architecture teams, transformation programs, rollouts, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
  • Guide architecture reviews, solution design workshops, vendor engagements, deployment planning, testing strategies, release management, and production readiness.
  • Drive improvements in performance, scalability, security, resilience, and operational efficiency.
  • Mentor architects, consultants, engineers, and technical leaders.
  • Advise executive stakeholders on technology strategy, digital transformation, modernization, governance, and investment decisions.
  • Support business development, solutioning, pre-sales, RFPs, RFIs, proposals, architecture assessments, GTM strategies, account growth, and complex deal pursuits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field is required; a master's degree is preferred.
  • At least 8 years of enterprise technology experience, including 10 or more years leading Oracle MICROS Simphony architecture, implementation, and large-scale deployment initiatives.
  • Expertise across Simphony POS, inventory management, menu management, loyalty, digital ordering, kitchen operations, and back-of-house technologies.
  • Proven experience architecting and modernizing restaurant technology ecosystems for large, multi-unit, or global organizations.
  • Extensive experience integrating Simphony with Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle Retail, inventory and supply chain platforms, analytics, digital commerce, loyalty, payment technologies, and third-party restaurant applications.
  • Strong API-first architecture and enterprise integration experience using Oracle Integration Cloud, MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar middleware.
  • Understanding of restaurant operations, inventory management, recipe costing, customer engagement, menu lifecycle management, and operational reporting.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, and hybrid enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading global architecture teams, enterprise transformation programs, and large-scale modernization initiatives.
  • Executive stakeholder influence, technology strategy, architecture standards, governance, risk management, communication, and vendor management experience.
  • Experience with enterprise reporting, analytics, operational intelligence, and data governance initiatives.
  • Oracle MICROS Simphony certification is preferred; Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle Retail experience are strongly preferred.
  • Pre-sales and go-to-market experience, including technical responses, executive stakeholder management, account growth, and complex deal pursuits.
