Responsibilities
- Design scalable, maintainable, and performant web applications and define frontend/backend system interactions.
- Develop, maintain, optimize, and implement features for FOX consumer-facing web applications.
- Establish engineering best practices through code reviews, linting rules, documentation, and high-quality testing.
- Optimize Web Vitals, bundle sizes, response times, SSR performance, caching, and hydration.
- Implement security protocols and identify technical debt, bottlenecks, and scalability concerns early.
- Deploy, monitor, debug, and resolve production incidents involving latency, errors, traffic spikes, and high-load live events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- 3–8 years of experience working as a web developer.
- Proficiency with TypeScript, JavaScript, modern frontend frameworks, Vue.js, Nuxt.js, CSS, and related web technologies.
- Hands-on experience building and optimizing server-side rendered applications using Nuxt.js, Next.js, or a similar modern framework.
- Experience with build tooling, bundling, shared npm packages, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and multi-environment release flows.
- Experience deploying and debugging SSR services across the CDN, origin/nginx, and rendering layers.
- Experience with production monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana or Sentry, including dashboards, metrics, and logs.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, ownership, security, usability, and production incident-resolution skills.
