Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to deliver high-quality products.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, end-to-end, database, and web services testing.
- Review functional and technical documentation and create requirements-aligned test cases and plans.
- Execute manual test cases and report comprehensive test results.
- Drive performance, load, security, and other software testing best practices.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases within existing frameworks.
- Apply GitHub best practices and work within CI/CD processes.
- Partner with the organizational QA team to build product knowledge, resolve challenges, and share results.
- Design, create, document, and implement test strategies, automation, tools, and processes.
- Mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with object-oriented programming languages and techniques, including Golang, Node, TypeScript, Java, RDBMS, and REST APIs.
- At least 3 years of experience developing and maintaining test automation for predominantly backend systems, web applications, and mobile applications.
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum QA environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to mentor junior team members.
