Base Salary
$80k - $128k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain services and processes that migrate and promote data and algorithms to AWS cloud environments and supporting databases.
- Design, code, test, and implement AWS cloud-based SQL solutions.
- Process financial market data and perform routine data checks, code development, and quality checks.
- Support database planning, design, implementation, systems analysis, and implementation.
- Gather requirements, estimate tasks, participate in code reviews, and support cloud deployments.
- Provide engineering support and maintenance as part of an Agile team and submit regular progress updates and weekly status reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of professional experience, or an associate degree and 7 years, or a high school diploma/equivalent and 9 years.
- Experience with AWS cloud databases using SQL Server.
- Experience processing XML, CSV, and other delimited data files.
- Knowledge and experience providing engineering support and maintenance as part of an Agile team.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance; the candidate cannot start before clearance is obtained.
- Preferred: AWS developer experience, ETL processing experience, experience in an Agile software development environment, an active Public Trust or other clearance, and a relevant master’s degree with 2 years of experience.
