Forward Deployed Software Engineer

$185k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work closely with customer stakeholders to conceive, architect, build, and maintain production applications.
- Understand customers’ critical objectives and build operationalized workflows on enterprise data.
- Iterate quickly and build applications from scratch that drive measurable business impact.
- Embed with customers and collaborate with internal and external teammates across technical proficiency levels.
- Travel onsite as needed for client implementation work.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
- Ability to build production applications using large structured and unstructured datasets.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering real-world outcomes through software, data science, or deeply technical analytics work.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and customer-facing communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and own outcomes autonomously.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client implementation work, typically 10–33% of the time.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid, in-person environment at the London or New York hub offices and onsite with customers.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science is preferred but not required.
- Experience with Palantir Foundry and/or AIP is preferred.
- Experience delivering production ML and/or LLM-based solutions is preferred.
- Experience delivering production frontend applications in React is preferred.
- Experience with Spark and distributed compute is preferred.
