Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-availability, low-latency authentication and authorization services in Go from design through production operation.
- Lead OIDC and SAML integrations for federated enterprise and partner single sign-on.
- Extend the Rego/OPA Policy Engine with resource-level permissions, dynamic scoping, and network-aware access conditions.
- Build IAM foundations for AI/ML platforms, including secure token exchange and identity context propagation for agentic workflows.
- Design and scale multi-tenant data models for users, teams, organizations, and resource boundaries.
- Improve service reliability through Kubernetes tuning, data pipeline modernization, and active on-call participation.
- Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities involving credential stuffing, session hijacking, and configuration theft.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and design feedback.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of software engineering experience, including at least 1–2 years focused on Identity, security products, or high-scale distributed systems.
- Strong proficiency in Go and solid understanding of gRPC microservices architecture.
- Working knowledge of OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, RBAC, ABAC, and PBAC.
- Solid understanding of consensus, replication, partitioning, and failure conditions in distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, SQL/MySQL, and Terraform.
- Ability to decompose complex systems into clean, maintainable abstractions.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and clearly communicate technical decisions.
- Preferred experience with Open Policy Agent and Rego.
- Preferred familiarity with canary and blue-green deployment strategies through Kubernetes.
- Preferred exposure to SCIM, LDAP, and directory services.
