Responsibilities
- Work directly with executives, project managers, IT development staff, customers, and partners to understand needs and deliver outcomes.
- Translate business and technical requirements into solution designs covering visualization, workflows, migrations, and enterprise-scale architecture.
- Lead functional workshops, document requirements, act as a functional lead, and design appropriate customer solutions.
- Deliver onboarding, implementation, training, technical consulting, roadmap assurance, and project execution guidance.
- Provide best-practice guidance for observability stacks involving visualization, alerting, metrics, logs, and traces.
- Identify recurring issues, monitor support needs, and advocate for product and offering improvements with internal teams.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services teams.
- Stay current on Grafana Labs, observability, and related technologies while solving customer problems from the command line.
Requirements
- Located in the UK.
- At least 5 years of experience working on deployment teams and using project management techniques.
- Direct experience with observability.
- Experience using and deploying observability stacks covering visualization, alerting, metrics, logs, and traces, preferably with Grafana products.
- A proven record of successfully delivering customer projects, preferably enterprise observability implementations for large customers.
- Experience with Kubernetes, including kubectl, with Helm and Tanka preferred.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud platforms.
- Strong communication skills with customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Ability to learn new skills and technologies and help develop the company’s offerings.
