Base Salary
$120k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement features across the Test Manager and Asset Manager subsystems.
- Define and implement service APIs using interface definition languages and develop device adapters for physical lab hardware.
- Implement and maintain PostgreSQL, GraphDB, DynamoDB, and other datastores.
- Deploy and manage the Test Framework using Amazon CDK.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Amazon Pipelines and GitLab Pipelines.
- Instrument and monitor services using CloudWatch, time-series databases, and alerting tools.
- Produce technical documentation, support Test Framework users, and triage and resolve production issues.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience is required.
- Proficiency in Python or Rust and Bash scripting is required; experience with both Python and Rust is a plus.
- Experience designing and building distributed systems and defining service interfaces using an IDL is required.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, including GitLab CI, Jenkins, or equivalent, is required.
- Familiarity with containerization and Linux/Unix environments, particularly console usage, is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Preferred qualifications include Amazon CDK or other infrastructure-as-code experience, embedded Linux, networking fundamentals, classified or air-gapped development, AWS CloudWatch observability, test framework technologies, and hardware-in-the-loop or lab automation testing.
