Base Salary
$97k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform manual software product testing through website interactions and testing tools.
- Create, maintain, and improve functional, end-to-end, regression, performance, and user-acceptance tests.
- Evaluate custom web applications, distributed architectures, and interoperable data streams across complex systems.
- Assist with implementing automated testing frameworks and strategies for verifying AI-assisted code.
- Detect, document, reproduce, troubleshoot, and track software defects and feature requests.
- Collaborate with developers, program engineering, and field operations teams to resolve defects and align testing with operational timelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software testing experience, including exposure to Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar web testing frameworks.
- 3+ years of backend API testing, integration testing, and functional testing experience.
- Understanding of networking concepts, distributed systems, and cross-network data flows.
- Experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems and SQL or SQL-like queries for relational or non-relational databases.
- Experience testing complex, data-heavy systems or interoperable data streams, along with strong technical writing and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with or strong interest in AI-assisted coding workflows and methods for verifying code integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or comparable professional experience.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include military cyber or networking experience, AI development and testing familiarity, virtualization or cloud experience, scripting with Bash, Python, or JavaScript, and experience testing OpenLayers or CesiumJS geospatial libraries.
