Responsibilities
- Perform full-stack system testing through API endpoints, hardware interfaces, and diagnostic tooling to isolate complex technical problems.
- Develop functional, end-to-end, regression, performance, and integration tests for software and physical hardware components.
- Evaluate hardware endpoints, distributed architectures, and interoperable data streams as a unified operational ecosystem.
- Design and maintain test environments that mirror operational hardware and software deployments.
- Assist with implementing automated testing frameworks to scale manual integration testing.
- Create testing strategies to verify the quality, robustness, and integrity of AI-assisted code development.
- Detect, document, and track system-level defects and feature requests.
- Align test lifecycles and testing velocity with program milestones, customer objectives, and the Pilot timeline.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of systems testing experience, including automation for software-hardware interfaces, API endpoints, or embedded systems using Python, Bash, or similar tools.
- At least 3 years of system-level integration testing focused on backend APIs and complex hardware/software ecosystems.
- Understanding of networking, distributed systems, and cross-network data flows.
- Experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems and SQL or other relational or non-relational database technologies.
- Familiarity with or strong interest in AI-assisted coding workflows and methods for verifying code integrity.
- Experience testing complex, data-heavy systems or interoperable data streams.
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or comparable professional experience.
- Military cyber, networking, or military and cyber terminology experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI development and testing, virtualization or cloud technologies, Bash, Python, JavaScript, OpenLayers, or CesiumJS is preferred.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
