Responsibilities
- Plan and execute integration engineering from architecture to code implementation.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for large users and partners.
- Lead strategic technical conversations about Stripe's product features and API architecture.
- Collaborate with Sales and Implementation teams to drive user engagement.
- Work with Product and Engineering to suggest enhancements based on feedback.
- Provide deep technical support and debugging for user integrations.
- Lead hands-on implementations and provide feedback on coding practices.
- Review and optimize existing user integrations for performance and reliability.
- Build tools and analytics to support user business reviews.
- Develop reusable processes to enable the broader Professional Services team.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software or integration engineering.
- Ability to write and debug code in languages like Go, Java, or C/C++.
- Comfortable with code-level debugging and problem-solving.
- Strong technical background with proficiency in SQL and data structures.
- Understanding of the payments domain and API security principles.
- Able to lead technical conversations and explain Stripe's workings.
- User-first mindset to map business requirements to technical solutions.
- Confident in engaging users and leading technical discussions.
