Responsibilities
- Lead application systems analysis, programming, design, implementation, and enhancement activities.
- Partner with management and technology teams to integrate functions and deliver new products and process improvements.
- Resolve complex, high-impact business and system process problems through detailed analysis and innovative solutions.
- Apply advanced application programming expertise and ensure designs align with enterprise architecture standards.
- Develop and maintain standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Support highly available, highly scalable, multi-channel shared services for Citi’s corporate banking clients.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as needed.
- Assess and manage technology and business risks while maintaining compliance with applicable policies, laws, and regulations.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in application development or systems analysis.
- Extensive experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
- Advanced Java full-stack development experience with JavaScript, Angular, React, and Spring.
- Experience with Spring Boot microservices, MongoDB, Couchbase, containers, Kafka, automated testing, and software delivery tooling.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects, with demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
- Subject matter expertise in at least one area of applications development.
- Ability to adjust priorities quickly and communicate clearly and concisely in writing and verbally.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
