Base Salary
$120k - $127k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provision, configure, and manage Azure resources, subscriptions, resource structures, naming standards, tagging, and cost management.
- Implement secure application authentication and access using Entra ID, single sign-on, managed identities, and service principals.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code with Bicep and ARM templates.
- Build and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines, reusable workflows, composite actions, automated testing, security scanning, and multi-environment deployments.
- Maintain application observability with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics, including monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting, and incident response.
- Support backup, restore, disaster recovery, and application resiliency procedures.
- Partner with IT on DNS, certificates, firewall rules, security policies, and other infrastructure dependencies.
- Document cloud architecture and processes while improving platform reliability, security, and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or 5+ additional years of equivalent professional experience.
- Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Azure resources, subscriptions, and cloud cost management tools.
- Experience with Entra ID application registrations, SSO, managed identities, and service principals.
- Experience developing and maintaining infrastructure as code using Bicep, ARM templates, or similar technologies.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or comparable tools.
- Experience with application monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
- Proficiency with SQL and experience working with Azure data services.
- Strong troubleshooting, production incident response, written communication, verbal communication, documentation, and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Understanding of cloud security practices, least-privilege access, and secure authentication.
- Preferred qualifications include AZ-900, AZ-104, GH-900, or GH-200 certifications; reusable GitHub Actions workflows and self-hosted runner experience; OIDC federation experience; cloud governance and cost optimization experience; resiliency experience; AI/ML interest or experience; and familiarity with BIM, architecture, engineering, construction, or design industries.
