Responsibilities

Lead development of high-speed systems that ingest and process real-time telemetry from thousands of remote assets.
Design and build infrastructure for secure remote monitoring, diagnostics, and over-the-air software updates on embedded devices.
Architect distributed data systems using technologies such as Snowflake and Spark for fleet insights and autonomous optimization.
Drive reliability-first systems and processes supporting 99.99%+ uptime for critical power infrastructure.
Embed AI into engineering workflows and product architecture to improve developer productivity and system reliability.
Collaborate with embedded systems, hardware design, and operations teams to align software and hardware for long-term fleet health.

15+ years of software engineering experience with architectural leadership across multiple teams in high-stakes production environments.
Deep experience in Industrial IoT, energy systems, industrial automation, or fleet-scale device platforms.
Deep experience architecting distributed systems and large-scale data platforms in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Strong understanding of the interaction between cloud software and high-availability hardware.
Expertise in distributed systems and data infrastructure, including technologies such as Spark, Snowflake, or equivalent telemetry pipelines.
Demonstrated success using AI/ML for developer productivity, predictive maintenance, and autonomous fleet management.
Strong commitment to uptime and excellent communication skills for engaging engineering teams and executive stakeholders.
