Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Framework, jQuery, React, and SQL.
- Build and maintain performant, secure, and scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend components using modern JavaScript practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, designers, and other cross-functional teams.
- Optimize database performance and write efficient queries across relational databases.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding, architecture, and design best practices.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment processes.
- Contribute to automated testing strategies and overall code quality.
- Mentor junior developers in the senior-level role.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 7 years of experience as a full-stack developer, ideally working on complex, data-driven applications.
- Strong experience with Java and the Spring Framework, preferably Spring Boot.
- Strong SQL proficiency and experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of authentication and authorization patterns, including OAuth2 and SSO.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git.
- Experience with SAML, OAuth, or OpenID Connect is desirable.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is desirable.
- Familiarity with Docker and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Groovy is desirable.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is desirable.
