Senior Software Engineer, Enterprise Corrections - Courts & Justice

- Develop and maintain secure, performant features for Corrections Solutions products.
- Write maintainable code, conduct code reviews, and uphold software quality standards.
- Design and integrate Web Services/APIs and develop data-driven features using relational databases.
- Design, use, and maintain agentic coding workflows that leverage AI to generate, test, debug, and optimize software.
- Automate and improve build and deployment processes.
- Identify technical debt and implement solutions that improve team productivity.
- Deliver features with minimal guidance and support larger engineering projects.
- Participate in on-call rotations for product, security, and urgent engineering issues.
- Create documentation for recurring issues, knowledge transfer, and standard procedures.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience, including designing, building, and maintaining SaaS applications.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and scalable architecture.
- Experience with relational database schema design, querying, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and cloud-native development practices.
- Experience with agentic coding tools and AI-assisted software development workflows.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps workflows.
- Knowledge of automated testing, test-driven development, continuous deployment, and maintainable coding practices.
- Strong communication, collaboration, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Node.js experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with Web Services, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and automated build and deployment processes is preferred.
